pharmachologic effect
Its action is to inhibit the growth and reproduction of pathogens by inhibiting the synthesis of protein molecules.
The process is carried out at the molecular level due to the drug's ability to penetrate into the microorganism and disrupt the interaction between ribosomes, which produce protein molecules, and transport RNA, which carries genetic material.
Release form
The release form can be different: in the form of coated tablets, powder in ampoules for injection, ointments: tetracycline eye ointment contains 1% of the active substance, and 3% ointment is intended for external use.
In addition, tetracycline eye drops are actively used in ophthalmology. For children, the drug is available in the form of syrups and suspensions. Instructions for use are attached to each form of release.
