  • mushrooms;
  • chlamydia;
  • rickettsia;
  • mycoplasma;
  • treponema.

The mechanism of action of the drug is to block the formation of protein molecules inside pathogenic microorganisms by blocking ribosomes and tRNA.

The duration of therapy is determined by the doctor, usually more than 10 days. With ureaplasma, the daily dosage of the antibiotic is 1.5 g for 3 doses, the duration of therapy is 10 days. In case of bacterial infection, manifested by spherical, common acne, the antibiotic is used at 1 g, divided into 2 doses per day for 2-4 weeks, then 0.5 g per day for a month.

Analogs

Among the analogs of Josamycin, structural and functional analogs can be distinguished:

  • Wilprafen is a structural analogue, which also contains josamycin as an active substance, belongs to antibacterial agents for systemic use.
  • Azimed is a functional analogue of Josamycin, contains azithromycin as an active substance.
  • AzitRus is a functional analogue, the active substance of which is azithromycin. Differs in a wide spectrum of action, less pronounced side effects, is contraindicated in women during pregnancy and lactation.
  • Rovamycin is a functional analogue, the active substance is spiramycin. The main antibacterial effect is aimed at destroying streptococci, staphylococci, enterococci. Not used if the patient has congenital or acquired deficiency of the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase during lactation.

Among the listed drugs, many have a wide spectrum of action, but Josamycin and Wilprafen are superior to others in this regard. On the side of side effects, the 2 named drugs are inferior to less toxic analogs created on the basis of azithromycin and spiracymin. In view of this, treatment should always start with less toxic substances and, if they are ineffective, use a more toxic drug.
