Composition and description

drug naxogen
drug naxogen

The drug Naxogin is available exclusively in the form of tablets at a dosage of 0.5 mg (500 mg). The drug is classified as antiprotozoal. That is, all components of Naxojin actively fight against protozoa and against aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.

The effectiveness of the drug is provided by its composition. In particular, the active ingredient is nimorazole, which accounts for 500 mg per tablet. It is nimorazole, which belongs to the latest generation of 5-nitroimidazoles, that actively penetrates into bacterial cells, disrupting the integrity of their membrane. As a result, the respiration of the tissues of the cells of pathogenic bacteria is disrupted and they die. In addition, nimorazole stops protein synthesis in the cells of harmful bacteria, which additionally works against their reproduction and growth.

Stearic acid, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, methylcellulose 400 are used as auxiliary substances in the production of Naxogin.

It should be noted that in general, all components of the drug are actively absorbed into the bloodstream through the intestines. In this case, the maximum therapeutic concentration of the active substance in the patient's blood plasma is noted already 3 hours after the initial intake of the tablets.
