Sodium bicarbonate or baking soda is the acidic sodium salt of carbonic acid. Powdery white crystals, soluble in water, are widely used in cooking, home and industry. Helminths or worms are parasitic worms that live in the human body. These can be single specimens or entire colonies, consisting of hundreds or thousands of individuals. At the same time, from 1 to 16 types of helminths can parasitize in different organs. They get to any part of the body, more often than others suffer:

- liver (echinococcus);
- skin (dracunculiasis).
It is worms that often cause excess weight, as they destroy all nutrients from food, leaving only "empty" calories for a person. The harm caused by helminths is not limited to this, they can cause:

Enema with baking soda
Soda enemas are very popular in the destruction of worms and to restore the body's working capacity. They easily cleanse the intestines from feces and toxic substances, remove helminths and toxins formed as a result of their vital activity.
You can defeat parasites with baking soda and vinegar without enemas, with oral administration according to the method of Professor I. P. Neumyvakin.
Preparation
When cleansing the intestines with an enema, the following solution is usually prepared:
- water - 0.8 l;
- soda - 30 g (heaped tablespoon).
When treated with sodium bicarbonate in this proportion, there is no toxic effect on the human body, but up to 70% of adults and larvae of worms are excreted. All products of their vital activity are destroyed.
The water should be moderately warm (38-42 ° C):
- too high a temperature relaxes the intestinal walls and can cause reabsorption of toxic substances;
- cold water can lead to hypothermia of the pelvic organs.
Mode of application
The procedure should be carried out in the morning on an empty stomach. It is recommended to choose free time from work - an enema causes discomfort and may require multiple bowel movements.
Antiparasitic cleaning is carried out in three stages:
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of table salt to 1-2 liters of warm boiled water. It acts as an antiseptic for intestinal lavage, but is not absorbed by its walls. The volume of fluid and sodium chloride depends on body weight. Withstand up to 10 minutes.
- The second stage is actually cleaning with soda from parasites. Using a heating pad or Esmarch mug, the solution is injected into the rectum. Withstand up to 30 minutes.
- Repetition of the first stage.
Basic rules for a cleansing enema:
- The patient takes a knee-elbow position or lies on his right side. In the latter case, the lower leg is slightly bent towards the stomach. If you press it hard, the procedure will be painful.
- The tip of the enema is lubricated with petroleum jelly and slowly inserted into the anus.
- After complete release of the solution, the tip is removed.
- The rate of administration of the enema should be comfortable. Emptying the container quickly can cause pain and stretch the intestinal wall, which can negatively affect kidney and liver function.
- The patient lies on his back, relaxes and breathes deeply.
- After the recommended time, you can go to the toilet.
How many times is it necessary to do the procedure
The procedure is repeated daily until the worms are completely eliminated, but no more than 10 sessions in a row.
How to give a soda enema to a child
Children can do a soda enema only after consulting a doctor. The solution is prepared more gentle than for adults:
- water - 250 ml;
- soda - 1 tsp;
- salt - 0.5 tsp.
The amount of solution administered to a child depends on his age.
Age | Solution volume, ml |
up to 6 months | 30-60 |
6-12 months | no more than 150 |
1-2 years | maximum 200 |
3-5 years | 300 |
6-9 years old | 400 |
over 10 years old | 500 |
An enema is given to a child not with a heating pad or Esmarch mug, but with a rubber pear:
- A soda or saline solution is being prepared.
- The pear fills with liquid.
- Excess air is removed.
- The tip is lubricated with petroleum jelly.
- The baby is placed on its back, the legs are lifted up. A child over a year old lies on his right side and slightly bends his knees.
- For children, the tip is inserted into the anus by 3-5 cm, for older children - by 6-8 cm.
- The pear is slowly squeezed, releasing the solution. They are removed without unclenching the hand.
- The baby's buttocks are gently squeezed.
- The baby is allowed to lie down for 10 minutes, then they are taken to the toilet.
