Staphylococcus aureus is a spherical microorganism that lives in the atmosphere, it can also be on the surface of any object.

This bacterium belongs to gram-positive microorganisms, which means that, with the assistance of special tones, it will change color in a specific way. This bacteria is pathogenic.

The golden microbe, or staphylococcus aureus, appears on the mucous membrane or on the human skin, then it begins to provoke many diseases. The patient has a strong intoxication of the body, there are violations of internal organs.

The staphylococcus bacterium, which has entered the organ and developed purulent tissue breakdown there, has a high probability of further spreading through the blood to other organs.

Ways of infection with Staphylococcus aureus

The main route of infection with Staphylococcus aureus is through contact, since many bacteria are found in house dust, on children's toys, furniture and on clothes.

The next route of infection is considered airborne, since microorganisms are also present in the atmosphere. Most often, newborn babies in maternity hospitals are infected with staphylococcus. Staphylococcus aureus is very resistant to the treatment process and to various antiseptic agents.

You can also become infected with this disease through edible food, since bacteria breed in foods that have deteriorated, it can be expired kefir, dairy products, baked goods, where there are cream layers and decorations, as well as all kinds of canned foods.

Staphylococcus aureus symptoms

There are quite a few signs of Staphylococcus aureus in the body. The signs of staphylococcus depend on where the infection itself occurred.

When staphylococcus is present, purulent rashes may appear over the body. When exposed to the skin of the given type of coccus, purulent inflammatory processes are likely. They appear in the form of carbunculosis, abscesses, pimples.

When infected with Staphylococcus aureus, the mucous membrane of the nose and larynx usually begins to develop tonsillitis, sore ears, and signs of tracheitis appear. If the bacteria penetrate deeper, more dangerous diseases such as pneumonia or croup can develop.

When an infection enters the bone system, poliomyelitis, gonarthrosis appears. If Staphylococcus aureus infects the cardiovascular system, endocarditis will result.

And if the infection finds itself in the eyes, then it causes a purulent infection, photophobia, lacrimation, and swelling of the eyelids appear. The result is an infectious infection of the conjunctiva. An inflammatory process on the skin, a severe rash is not a single sign that Staphylococcus aureus has appeared in the body.

Often, infection can also have the following symptoms:

  1. body temperature starts to rise and fall;
  2. symptoms appear, such as when poisoning;
  3. prolonged sepsis;
  4. toxic shock occurs.

In children, the rash is often confused with scarlet fever. It comes in the form of bubbles or scalded skin.

Treatment methods for Staphylococcus aureus

Quite a few doctors prefer to prescribe antibiotics for Staphylococcus aureus. But in many cases, antibiotics simply do not cure the disease. An exception is for taking an antibiotic, only if a person has a purulent focus of infection.

For the effective treatment of such an infection, it is necessary to be examined not only for the patient, but also for all members of the family. It also needs sanitization of the entire room where the patient was.

Basically, our people ignore such actions, which leads to ineffectiveness in treatment and further complications. And the patient's relatives begin to say that the attending physician treated the patient poorly.

Also, the multiplication of infection can be viruses that undermine the body's immune system. Such viruses are - herpes, Epstein-Barr virus and many others.

For the treatment of this infection, it is also necessary in a complex to organize an increase in the immune system to the formation of Staphylococcus aureus. Such a medication as broncho-munal will help very well in this. It has a whole range of beneficial bacteria that help in treatment, and it is also used in preventive measures.

Doctors often prescribe an alcoholic solution of chlorophyllipt, which is used to rinse the throat and to flush the sinuses.

Staphylococcal vaccination is also carried out, this vaccination is done intramuscularly, it has the property of creating reliable immunity against staphylococcal microorganisms, but such vaccination is allowed only for adults.

In our time, a very large number of medicines against staphylococcus have been developed, but it is not recommended to choose on your own.

It is necessary for the doctor to select an individual medicine after the examination. That would be effective treatment. The choice of a medicine is made against the background of the analyzes received. Self-medication can only aggravate the patient's condition.

Medicines for Staphylococcus aureus

In the treatment of this disease, there are several types of drugs:

  • vaccination, which is done under the skin. It aims to increase the body's defenses, directly from staphylococcus (Toxoid)
  • the so-called particles of dead bacteria, they are not dangerous to the body, aimed at causing a violent immune response (Imudol, Broncho-munal);
  • specially designed viruses aimed specifically at destroying staphylococcal infection (Bacteriophage);
  • a drug that is obtained from serum, which contains a huge amount of antibodies, they destroy cocci cells;
  • medicines, which include aloe, they are available in the form of a vaccine, and in the form of tablets and in the form of syrup. Such drugs stimulate the immune system well;
  • chlorophyllipt oil or alcohol. This solution kills staphylococci, which are resistant to antibiotics.

Antibiotic treatment for Staphylococcus aureus

Previously, antibiotics of the penicillin groups were used to cure this disease, but staphylococcal microorganisms very quickly developed resistance to it. Therefore, today, for the treatment of pustules on the skin, which are directly excited by Staphylococcus aureus, beta-lactam antibiotics (methicillin group) from the penicillin series are used. But there are already strains that are resistant even to this antibiotic.

Vancomycin, teicoplanin and fusidic acid are used against such cocci. But they are prescribed by doctors in very dangerous cases. For example, with a furunculous rash, an antibiotic cannot give a 100% guarantee of a cure, and the microorganism can re-settle on the skin, while having already developed resistance to medicines.

Basically, for the treatment of Staphylococcus aureus in the nasopharyngeal passage or on the skin, an oily solution of chlorophyllipt is used, caress the throat and wipe the skin with a solution of furacilin, on the skin you can also smear a sore with brilliant green, fucorcin, methylene blue.

An alternative to antibiotics are preparations containing bacterial lysates that develop immunity directly to cocci.

Such immunomodulatory medications are contraindicated in people who have an autoimmune disease. Treatment of this infection can be supplemented with alternative methods.

Alternative treatment

The use of folk remedies is aimed at treating purulent foci of the disease, such treatment makes it possible to increase immunity, relieve inflammation, and even destroy staphylococcus in the outbreak itself.

Folk remedies are divided into two subgroups:

  1. drugs that affect the entire body as a whole (general);
  2. drugs that are applied directly to places of suppuration.

Common means are those that are applied internally, various decoctions.

With furunculosis, you can use the following composition: mix cranberry berries with natural liquid honey (1: 2). Also a very effective remedy for ingestion is juice from celery roots and parsley. It is taken on an empty stomach several times a day. Local remedies are creams, ointments, lotions focused on cleansing pustular wounds.

In place of the pustules, put potatoes, cut in half, potatoes need to be taken raw and unpeeled, aloe pulp or onion stewed in a frying pan without oil. These funds help extract pus from the wound. Onions or potatoes must be applied to the wound and fixed with a bandage or adhesive plaster. It is necessary to leave such a bandage for the whole night, and in the morning remove it, usually in the morning there is no pus in the wound.

A variety of herbal preparations are used, they are used both for mucous membranes and for wounds. Inside, you can take such decoctions of calendula, licorice, string, yarrow, St. John's wort and chamomile. These decoctions are also used to rinse the mouth. Such herbal preparations are much more effective and safer than chemical solutions.

Treatment of Staphylococcus aureus should be started as early as possible when the first signs appear. Be sure to contact a specialist for a complete examination and correct diagnosis. This makes it possible to prevent further complications.

Staphylococcus aureus can be cured even with general blood poisoning, but the question is for a long time? He is everywhere. In order not to provoke re-infection, you need to increase immunity. First you need to correct your diet, introduce as much vitamin as possible into your menu.

It is necessary in particular to point out that the core factors of infection of people with Staphylococcus aureus is not stability in the body and a decrease in immunity. People who have a strong immune system do not become infected by contact with carriers of an infectious disease.
